From Concept to Master planning and Detailing of magnificent seven hundred fifty acres of Aamby valley city. It has been a detailed experience of seeing an architect’s paradise getting implemented on land

Aamby valley city, the first of its kind megapolis, spread over more than ten thousand undulating acres of verdant expanse, is snugly nestled amidst picturesque environs of the great Sahayadri Mountain Range.

Aamby Valley is India’s first Planned, Self-contained aspirational city, remarkable for its unsurpassed grandeur and plush signature features.

The site was a hilly terrain with undulated land and water streams running throughout the 10,000 acres.

Planning the township began with a team of only 8 architects and engineers. Designing and drafting the first few acres was a herculean task. All drawings were hand-drawn to scale along with hand-painted sketches.

The commencement of the work started in the year 1995.

Keeping in mind the presence of grand entryways observed in our heritage, imposing entry and exit gateways were designed for this exclusive township.

The Reception Center was constructed using stone masonry on the exteriors and brick masonry for interiors.

An exclusive hilltop villa was designed for dignitaries. Classical design elements were used while designing the villa along with stepped fountains in front for a beautiful view.

In the 1990’s era, a hilltop designer cottage with a beautiful garden was longed by every individual.

The concept behind the club house was imagining turtles swimming in a water body. With a time constraint of 90 days, the dome structures were built using sandwiched polycarbonate sheets. The domes appear to be floating over water which are connected to each other with small walkover bridges.
