Minizmo was an Interior Design Project in DLF Promenade Mall, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The project was to design a men’s apparel showroom in a corner space of a mall, besides the escalator. The design was done keeping small space constraints and huge verticality in mind. The design concept was kept minimalistic and no enclosed spaces were created. The entire space was designed using elements that allow even a small space to look bigger—this included, the play of straight lines for hanging rods and picture frames, shades of grey used-to give soft look to a small space, modern and sophisticated look, flooring pattern chosen to give a 3D graphical look, and different areas demarcated by functions. Flooring, elevation, and design elements amalgamated efficiently to help in binding the whole showroom together.
